Stella Grant has Cystic Fibrosis and has been in and out of hospitals most of her life. She has to stay away from anyone or anything that she could catch an infection from because she’s on a list for a lung transplant.
The only problem is that she meets Will Newman who also has Cystic Fibrosis. Will is just counting down the days until he turns 18 so that he can stop his treatments and go travel the world.
The connection between Will and Stella is undeniable but if they get too close physically it could jeopardize Stella’s chances of receiving her lung transplant.
This was such a good read! I didn’t know a lot about Cystic Fibrosis before reading this book but I now have a new found appreciation and compassion for those that suffer with this horrible disease. Be warned that tissues will be needed while reading this beautiful story.
